We had a FABULOUS first day of school. I can already tell that this group is full of creative and innovated thinkers who are going to make this year such a great year of learning! Don't be surprised if your kinder is EXHAUSTED tonight because I sure am! We spent a lot of time today talking and practicing how to just be in school and I'm the classroom. We practiced walking in line (already doing so great!), sitting at the rug, and moving around the classroom. In addition to reading "The Kidding Hand" and exploring our STEM activity shelves, we also got to go to PE with Ms. Gray and library with Mrs. B for the first time!
Tomorrow we will continue getting oriented with classroom life. In the mean time, please check out your child's green folder that they brought home today. It has information and should be sent back to school daily so I can continue to update you. It's a great place to send me any notes too!
Thank you to the families that have already sent in tissues, hand sanitizer, wipes, and snack items! It is very much appreciated.
